Economical high-quality platesetter Built for
efficient throughput and with a modular construction, the DotMate
7500 is an excellent choice for the printing business that wants to move into
a digital workflow. Fully integrated imaging and processing in a surprisingly
small footprint - only 125 x 160 cm (45" x 63") or 145 x 160
(57" x 63"), saves space and quickly and efficiently transports
plate material. The optional take-up cassette gives you the freedom to
produce film output, too, all in the same machine. Fast, accurate imaging In the DotMate 7500, the internal drum concept is optimized by
turning the platesetting format 90° compared to conventional
practice. Output resolution can be set
freely to any value from 1200 to 3600 dpi. No less than 15 individual spot
sizes from 8 to 25 microns are automatically coordinated with the output
resolution to ensure razor-sharp dots at any resolution. The fully integrated RIP-controlled media
processor ensures optimal job synchronization all the way through, until the
finished plates land in the unique, space-saving FilmStacker. Flexible, efficient
production of plates and film The DotMate 7500 automatically centers each job on the
desired plate size and cuts and punches the plate without any manual
handling. All the most common punch systems are available – even mixed
systems and custom systems can be installed.
The punch is a field-upgradeable option that can be added at any
time. If you need film output, the
unique MediaDrive™ construction lets you produce it
in the same machine, outputting films to a take-up cassette, while plates
move directly through the built-in processor. Proofing When implementing
a digital CTP workflow, proofing can be one of the many issues facing the
printer. A variety of digital proofing
devices ranging from laser printers to inkjet and dye sublimation printers
are available on the market today and are generally accepted by most
customers. Mitsubishi

plug-in solution for any of our digital platesetters. These proofing
plug-ins have been developed for Epson’s line of printers – 3000, 5000, 7000,
